2009 Marlins Wish List

Fortunes made were lost in 2008, but the Marlins had a pretty darn good year. Finishing over .500 makes it a good season for me. After all, winning two World Series so quickly after entering the league can spoil you. Speaking of the World Series, we are due in 2009!

So….what do I want in 2009 from my Marlins?
1. A playoff appearance (I usually don’t go this bold, but we are due.)
2. A winning season (My normal be-over-.500 wish.)
3. Can we please get an effective closer?
4. How about a hardy catcher?
I am looking forward to the 2009 season of Marlins Baseball. It will be our 17th season by my count and I cannot wait for opening day! The World Baseball Classic will keep my patience for a bit, but February will be tough going.
Oh, that reminds me, I’m sooooooooooooooooo happy the MLB Network is coming. Comcast Tallahassee Channel 279 baby!!!!!! Now all I need is the HD version to launch and some Cracker Jack.
Go Marlins and Have a Great New Year!
